The Medical Liaison plays a key role in our business, liaising with customers within the defined territory (VIC/TAS metro and regional areas) to provide support in the attainment of knowledge and appropriate use of ST products through the development, maintenance, and enhancement of key customer relationships.
Reporting to the National Liaison Manager, you will undertake detailed territory analysis and planning to identify, develop and coordinate physician advocates for our products. You will utilise your effective communication skills to educate and support your customers on appropriate technical, therapeutic, disease state and product information. In this role you will support our current portfolio of oncology and haematology products and will be involved in the launch of a new products in these therapeutic areas.
About You
You possess drive, tenacity, integrity and a desire to be a part of a highly motivated and engaged team and be able to demonstrate a successful track record. You have strong business acumen, can work in a collaborative and competitive environment and can comprehend and effectively communicate high levels of technical, therapeutic, disease state and product information.
Additionally, you will have:
Tertiary qualifications in science or a related field
Demonstrable pharmaceutical hospital / specialist experience, preferably in oncology or haematology
Prior successful experience with product launches is highly desirable
The ability to grasp technical concepts quickly and to acquire a high level of product and therapeutic knowledge
Well-developed organisational skills, including the planning of external meetings and symposia
